If the warp bubbles supposedly "suck" you in, even at 100km away apperently, what range do you have to be to not be "sucked" in?

Is there a setting to change so that when I engage the autopilot I warp to 0 meters instead of 15? Currently, to save time, I have to manually warp to 0, activate the stargate, and warp to the next stargate, etc.
